Breath Held marks a turn in John Debowie's discography toward cinematic ambient and experimental
electronics. Released in June 2025, the album steps away from the gaming and dungeon synth themes of the
previous releases to chart inner territory — seven tracks built around respiration, suspension, and the
dilation of time.
From the artist: «A sonic journey through liquid electronic landscapes and ethereal textures, where
time dilates and space becomes sound. The album moves between moments of pure atmospheric suspension and
deconstructed rhythmic pulsations. Each track is an autonomous ecosystem of frequencies, where refined
sound design meets the poetry of digital imperfection.» An album to be entered, not played in the
background — the kind of record that asks for the lights low and the room empty.
